With a career spanning strategic leadership, business transformation, and AI-driven innovation, Bala has built and scaled successful technology businesses. Before leading iGreenTree, he founded and grew a process automation venture, which later merged with iGreenTree. He also served as an Independent Director on the Board of Startek, a NYSE-listed company, offering strategic guidance on technology-driven customer experience solutions.

A significant chapter of his career was at Wipro, where he played a pivotal role in expanding global industry-focused business units across Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, High-Tech, and Pharma. Bala was instrumental in turning around and scaling struggling businesses, aligning capabilities with market shifts, and fostering deep customer advisory relationships.

His contributions to technology and business strategy include pioneering the application of Toyota Production Systems in software development—a breakthrough approach featured in Harvard Business School case studies and the book Bangalore Tiger by Steve Hamm. His innovation, CIGMA, earned Wipro the prestigious Nasscom Innovation Award, reinforcing his expertise in driving operational excellence and digital transformation.

Recognized for his thought leadership, Bala has been a key speaker at global forums, including The World Economic Forum at Dalian and The Economist panel discussions. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata, one of India’s premier management institutions.

Today, as the CEO of iGreenTree, Bala continues to shape AI-driven sustainability solutions, helping businesses navigate the intersection of technology, energy, and sustainability while creating lasting impact.

Stephen Clemons

Stephen Clemons is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in IT strategy, cyber security, and digital transformation, particularly in the energy sector. As the former Chief Technology Officer of SMUD, the sixth-largest public utility in the U.S., he led major initiatives in customer experience, cyber security, and enterprise technology, shaping the future of critical infrastructure.

His leadership extends beyond utilities—having held key roles at iboss Cyber security, Qualcomm, and the State of California, where he focused on innovation, regulatory compliance, and IT strategy at scale. He also led large-scale IT operations and digital education initiatives as CTO of the San Diego County Office of Education.

Now, as CTO at iGreenTree, Stephen is focused on advancing sustainable energy solutions and driving digital transformation at the intersection of energy, technology, and security. His work empowers the company to enhance cyber security frameworks while enabling smarter, more sustainable energy solutions.

Jassi Arora

Jassi is a seasoned business and IT executive with more than 30 years of experience in the customer service and transmission and distribution areas of the utility industry. Jassi is currently the President of iGreenTree responsible for overall Strategy and Program Advisory.

Prior to joining iGreenTree, Jassi worked at PG&E as Vice President of Infrastructure and cloud services.

Jassi Arora co-led Duke Energy’s Customer Connect program as vice president of Business Transformation & Technology and Customer Connect Delivery. He was responsible for consolidating and modernizing the company’s legacy billing systems into one customer service platform to deliver the universal experience customers expect. Jassi was also accountable for IT department supporting digital customer experience, all legacy Customer Systems, Renewables applications and Call Center technologies.

Jas has led the successful implementation of large-scale customer information and many grid modernization projects partnering with several utilities to implement programs such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Distribution Management System (DMS), Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Smart Grid Solutions.

Jassi holds several degrees including a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Computer Application and a Master of Science in statistics.Jassi and his wife, Ruchi, have one son and a Golden Doodle dog

Frank Carnevale

Frank Carnevale is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience driving innovation, strategy, and growth in the cleantech, proptech, utility and energy sectors. As Country Head, Canada at iGreenTree.ai, Frank leads national efforts to accelerate AI adoption and digital integration within utilities, power companies, and municipalities—advancing clean and digital technologies to support a smarter, more sustainable energy future.

Frank has held several senior executive roles, including CEO of BHC Canada, CEO of Cleantech Power Corp., and Chief Growth Officer at Universal PropTech Inc., where he championed the convergence of clean and building technologies, and digital infrastructure. He also serves as Innovations Lead at Dexterra On-Demand, applying cutting-edge thinking to facility operational transformation.

Throughout his career, Frank has originated and led over $3 billion in energy-related M&A and transactions in Canada. His work spans regulated utilities, energy developers, and public-sector clients, bringing deep expertise in market navigation, policy, and monetizing innovation. He currently serves on the Board of Governors at Ontario Tech University and has contributed to numerous energy and clean-tech

Deepak Adinarayana

Deepak is a forward-thinking executive, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset and extensive experience in consulting, business development, and operations. He has built and led high-performing teams dedicated to software and product delivery, streamlining operations, and ensuring robust customer management. His career includes launching innovative cloud-based solutions and collaborating with major Fortune 100 customers.

He has been instrumental in spearheading enterprise-grade digital transformation initiatives, overseeing large-scale application migrations and system upgrades, and orchestrating organization-wide change management. His efforts have aligned business processes with evolving market trends and regulatory demands, positioning organizations for sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Deepak also brings a strong background in sales and marketing leadership, having crafted go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and operating frameworks that drive revenue growth while enhancing customer experiences across multiple business lines. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from R.V.C.E in Bangalore, India, and further advanced his expertise by obtaining a Master of Science in Logistics and Operations from the University of Texas at Austin.

Sheela Naveen

With 22 years of industry experience, Sheela Naveen serves as our CHRO, bringing an exceptional blend of expertise in both technology and human resources. She has refined her skills through extensive roles in software R&D companies in the Telecom and Networking domain, primarily with medium-sized and startup enterprises. Over the years, she has made significant contributions at organizations such as Deccanet Designs, IDS Software Solutions, Lifetree Convergence (now Techno Tree), and ECI Telecom (now Ribbon Communications). Notably, she has been instrumental in scaling teams from the ground up to over 300 employees, while implementing tailored HR policies and procedures to meet organizational requirements. Her dual proficiency in technical operations and HR management has effectively bridged the gap between innovative tech solutions and strategic human capital initiatives, driving operational excellence, fostering organizational growth, and improving employee retention.

For the past two years, Sheela has been at the forefront of HR strategy at iGreenTree, where her forward-thinking approach continues to shape the future of HR. Holding a postgraduate degree from XRLI in Human Resource and Software Engineering from NIIT, she is well-equipped to navigate the evolving intersection of technology and human resources. Her comprehensive expertise ensures that our organization remains agile and competitive in today's rapidly changing industry.

Sujan Bose

As the Vice President of Product Engineering Services at iGreenTree, Sujan leads growth across various engineering service offerings, including consulting, product development, testing, deployment, system integration and support, and platform modernization. His focus is on key industry domains such as Grid Modernization and Energy Transition for utilities.

With over two decades of global experience in the utilities sector, Sujan has worked with major industry players like Tata Power, ABB, & Cyient. He has also provided technology consulting services in electricity, water, and gas domains for utilities across the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Turkey, the Middle East, and India. His expertise lies in driving IT-OT transformations, utilizing digital technologies, and leading innovation projects in Utility Network Management and Grid Modernization.

Prior to joining iGreenTree, Sujan served as Partner and Head of Consulting for Utilities at Wipro Limited in the APMEA region. There, he managed utility clients across Australia, New Zealand, ASEAN, the Middle East, and India, overseeing advisory and implementation services. Sujan led a team of over 500 members and was responsible for managing a portfolio with a yearly revenue of USD 60 million across 30+ utility client accounts.

Bob Champagne

Bob Champagne is a executive advisor and technology consultant with nearly four decades of experience in digital transformation, advanced analytics, and AI. As Head of Digital Innovation and AI Enablement at iGreenTree, he helps utilities future-proof their digital ecosystems and create clear line of sight between technology investments and measurable business results.

His career spans leadership roles at Smart Energy Water, TMG Consulting, BHC Global, Innowatts, Grid4C, BHC Global , and UMS Group—where he worked with over 150 utilities globally on benchmarking, enterprise transformation, and digital strategy. Since 2010, he has advised and led several successful technology startups harnessing AI and machine learning across the energy value chain.

He serves on the Board of the Green Button Alliance and is a graduate of Louisiana State University.

Shriraam Dharmaboopathy

Shriraam is an accomplished Enterprise Architect and technology leader with over 19 years of experience in large-scale digital transformation and innovation. As the Director, Technical Delivery at iGreenTree, he specializes in creating scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that enhance utility customer experiences and drive business growth.

With deep expertise across Business, Data, Application, Technology, and Security architecture domains, Shriraam has successfully led global transformation programs for utility clients. His career spans enterprise architecture, cloud migration, smart grid analytics, and data governance, working with industry giants like Wipro Ltd. and CGI Inc. He has designed and implemented large-scale IT modernization projects, spearheaded smart grid analytics for real-time asset monitoring, and led multi-cloud integration strategies to optimize operational efficiency. He has led the development of IoT-driven smart energy solutions, optimizing energy efficiency for customers.

Shriraam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from Anna University, India. Passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology to solve complex challenges, he continues to drive innovation in the utilities sector.

Adriana (Andi) Karaboutis

Adriana (Andi) Karaboutis is a seasoned technology executive and industry thought leader, bringing decades of expertise in AI, digital transformation, and energy innovation to iGreenTree’s Advisory Board. With a distinguished career spanning energy, automotive, healthcare, and technology, Andi has successfully led organizations through large-scale technology shifts, making her an invaluable asset to iGreenTree’s mission of leveraging AI to drive the future of energy and utilities.

As the former Global CIO and Chief Digital Officer at National Grid, Andi played a pivotal role in modernizing energy infrastructure through AI, data analytics, and digitalization, enhancing grid resilience and customer engagement for one of the world’s leading power utilities. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at Dell Technologies, General Motors, and Biogen, leading transformational initiatives that bridged the gap between technology and business strategy.

At iGreenTree, Andi will provide strategic guidance on AI-driven grid modernization, energy-as-a-service models, and customer-centric digital solutions. Her expertise in enterprise AI, organizational change, and cross-industry innovation will be instrumental in helping iGreenTree’s customers navigate the energy transition and achieve their sustainability goals.
